A1A Sewer Force Main Mala Compra to Marineland

Scope: The City of Palm Coast is seeking proposals from qualified Contractors. The Work consists of the construction of over 17,569-ft of new 12”-14” sewer force main along A1A from Mala Compra Road to Marineland. Directional drill construction includes 4,253-ft (+/-) of new 14” PE force main. Open cut construction includes 13,316-ft (+/-) of new 12” PVC force main. This project includes work in areas that include coquina shell / rock: It is not a continuous shelf of coquina, but rather fragments of coquina rock which are mixed within the sand. The Contractor should be prepared to utilize specialized equipment to facilitate excavation activities if they encounter larger pieces of coquina along the alignment.
